*Heels From A Man's Perspective 2*

Who said Men can't pick shoes!... My friend Darnell sent me pictures of shoes that he like and I adore them all.  He also sent me pictures a while ago which are posted via > Darnell's Heels World 1.

*If any of the pics listed belong to you, please send me a message letting me know and I will credit, since these were sent via e-mail, I don't know where they originated from-Thanks*

*Wedge Nightmare*

Around 3 months ago I found the perfect pair of wedges at DSW.  I am not a wedge person, I own around 4 pairs, however, these were just right to wear with different outfits and the last pair at the store.  Lets just say it was meant to be and love at first sight.  A couple days later, I decided to wear them to work and when I was showing a co-worker, I noticed this:

*Material Girl*

When the Material Girl line came out last year, I went to Macy's the first day to see what the hyped was about.  Once there, I was not impressed at all.  The presentation of this line did not live up to the name.  I expected to walk into a display just like the Material Girl music video.  I did not find an outfit for me since I found it a bit for the younger crowd.  About 2 months ago, I was looking for jeans at Macy's and found this dress.  I love it, it is glittery and it fits perfect.  The best part is that I got it for $4.99 (reg price around $49), plus 20% discount at the register.  This dress fits perfect.

 Cheers...and always beautify ur life.

*My Bombshells*

Ever since I saw the CL pictured below I fell in love with them, but not with the price tag.  I believe them to be around $2,800 which to me that's extreme on my budget...

*Puerto Rico*

This post is way overdue since my husband and I went to Puerto Rico in June and now as looking through the pictures decided to share a bit of my trip.  Enjoy!
I had to show this picture first... This is the roof of a house, talk about print only on clothes, shoes and purses???

*Baby Phat Violet*

As I always, I find excuses to buy more shoes.  This time, these were on clearance :-).  I am a size 7, and purchased a 7 1/2 since the front is a bit narrow or perhaps I have fat feet (lol).

Shoe: Letisha
Color: Violet
Heel: 5"/1" Platform
Peep Toe with two ankle straps.
Just wanted to share that even Baby Phat makes mistakes :-), unless it was meant to be "Viloet"...

*Cheetah for Less*

A couple months ago I purchased the JS Cheetah Pumps to match my Furla Bag which I fell in love with the first time I saw it at the store.
As I was checking my FB, I came across the Qupid Pumps pictured below.  To me they look the same, except the strap and color tone of the shoe.  With a pair of JS you can't go wrong, however, if the price is right, I can go with a less expensive pair and still look fab.

At the end of the day, budget, comfort and style are top on my check list.

*This is Why I Stick to Inexpensive Heels*

Today I decided to wear a pair of heels which I feel in love with the moment I saw them at the store.  I am quite disappointed since they were far out of my budget and I thought that by being a known designer, the quality was going to be better than those $20-30 heels that I own.

Wrong...

*Weekend Tip*

Happy Friday!!!!
Keep it safe this weekend and make sure to wear SunBlock (I'm guilty of not wearing any). I need to start taking better care of my skin.
I'm always missing from blogger, however, I can always be found on Twitter (beautify_urlife) updating and reading on the latest fashion deals and business oriented individuals.
And Now... a Weekend Tip!

*Fake *VS* Bail*

Have you heard???
If you are one of those shoppers that love to buy knock-offs in NYC, guess what?, you could face a year in jail or $1000 fine (video below).  So why not just buy the Real Deal and avoid paying Bail.  The females on this video should be ashamed talking about getting a designer bag for cheap.  Are you serious???.  If you don't have the money, then buy a more affordable bag like the ones I posted below which they serve the same purpose.

*Guess Who???*

I came across this pair for $36.00, which I right away had to get since they can dress up a little black dress. ;-).  I purchased two pairs since my friend's birthday was at the same time and I found it to be a great gift.  At that time, they were still $120.00 via GUESS, now they only have the all black pair for $50.00.  This print pair are available for $119.99 via HEELS

*Congratulations JLO*

I am happy for Jennifer Lopez as she was chosen as the World's Most Beautiful Woman by People Mag.  She has come a long way by working hard and staying focused.  I find her always very sweet and business oriented.  She's a beautiful person inside out.  Her big break was in 1997 with the movie "Selena" and from there on... A Success!

~Congratulations~

*Rayne Dazzle*

Last month I received my Shoedazzle selection since I wasn't pleased on the material and minor defects on them I returned them.  With the credit, I selected "Rayne" for this month and I love them.  The green color is so bright and beautiful.  This is a great pair for Spring and Summer picnics.  The bad news is that the front of the heel is narrow for me and my toes look like mini sausages trying to escape. :-)
Shoedazzle description of the shoe:
Fit:    True to size
Description:    Strappy faux patent-leather platform pump
Color:    Green
Heel Height:    3.5" heel*
Platform:    1.5" platform*
Origin:    Imported
Taken from Shoedazzle.com
I found the same pair on Shoebuy in different colors.  I love the white pair because I do not have that color in my collection.  I find Shoedazzle shoes on other websites which I would like for shoe clubs to offer shoes that are exclusive to that particular club. Just a thought...

*What's a purse without a pair of Killer Heels*

On February 19, 2011 I ordered this beauty of a purse (Furla) from Bloomingdale's.  At the store it was $225.00 and I didn't want to spend that much for a purse, so I went online and contemplated the purchase for a couple of days until I saw it listed for $180.  On top of that I had a coupon for 10% which brought the total to $162.  My total purchase was $180.83 with tax and shipping.  Bloomingdale's have free shipping on orders of $150 or more if you have their store card, but I wanted the purse faster, so paid faster shipping.  This purse is beautiful, the material is so soft and it came with a bag for storage.

Of course I needed a pair of heels with this purse.  I was at Macy's just browsing and found the perfect matching pair to match this purse.
~Jessica Simpson's Taupe Grey Pumps~

Google Pics
The combination with this purse is perfect.  This is a 5-1/2 heel which they do not seem that tall since it has a covered platform.  After wearing them the first time, I had to buy a pair of heel liners to prevent any more hurting and blisters.  Aside from that, I am loving them.
Cheers...and always beautify ur life.

*Home Shopping Network*

Confession: I'm hooked on HSN!!!!!
I used to think that this website/tv program was for those people that didn't know what else to do with their money.  WRONG!!!. I turned into one of those people, but I am getting deals while shopping.  The best thing about their service is how fast I get my packages and no hassle returns or exchanges.  I found the items below at their clearance section ;-).
$14.95 Each (Purchased all three colors)
$14.90 Each (Purchased Turquoise and Black)

*New Beginnings*

April already!!! Too Fast.  I'm excited, finally moved to a bigger place with my fiancé... yes, I'm getting married in June and finally I have a place for gathering with friends, for my new sewing venture and for my "Elopement" (no we're not minors or running away.lol).  I can't really call it wedding or ceremony because to me that sounds like "church, hall, limousines, huge dress and the tears right after when in debt".  So no, we are just going to invite immediate family and close friends and just have a gathering, eat, drink and just have a good time.
I am looking for a simple "evening" dress, and wanted to match it with a pair of Christian Louboutin (pic below) , however, as much as I would love to, I find that I can do much more with $1195.  At this point, I'm just happy that things are working for us and we are in a better place.

I have been browsing and I can't find it anywhere for sale.  I don't know if it was just made for her since the one on the runway looks like this:

So... If you happen to know where I can find it, please forward me the link or the name of the store.  Lets see if my "wants" match with my bank account. :-).

When I think of Tiffany & Co., my first thoughts are Pendants, Diamonds and cute jewelry... not Purses.

While going through Lucky Mag (March 2011), I found this ad...
Perhaps they always had purses and I didn't notice or the store that I went to last month did not have them.  Either way, I went to the website and selected my favorites; if only they were a bit less... Dreaming On with the birdies...

*Christian Siriano for Payless*

Shanghai Exotic Peep Toe Pump - $44.95

Like always I checking what's the latest out there and who's coming out with the next exciting, gorgeous, fabulous pair of heels, but not sure if Christian Siriano falls in my categories.   I expected him to come out a bit stronger being as Fab as he always present himself.

I just can't see myself on these heels... They did not take my breath away for one bit. (Pics from Payless)

*Valentine's Day Looks*

Valentine's Day is around the corner and I been looking around for a nice outfit to wear this or next weekend (still unsure when to actually celebrate).  I usually do not celebrate the same date as the "Holiday" since places are crowded and I honestly I believe that a 2 hour wait for a table sounds ridiculous (did that last year).  This year I thought why not stay in, prepare a nice dinner and dress up.  I've never dressed up just to stay in, but there's nothing wrong with Dinner, A movie and then get on Facebook to play those ridiculous time consuming games that keep us entertained.  Okay, the Facebook part sounded a bit too addicting, but most be on it.
I searched for outfits online & came across the selections below.
(google pics)
Enjoy and Have a wonderful Valentines!

*Seasonique Diaries*

The details below might seem of TMI, however, I wanted to share my experience with other females that might be going through the same thing or might be thinking about getting on the pill and are not sure.  I am in no way bad mouthing the company, just sharing my own personal experience with this product.  I've read other reviews of females giving their opinions, some were positive, some were negative, but I can only speak from my own.

For those who are not familiar with "Seasonique", below I included a short description.

*Size Does Matter!!!*

Imagine getting to the mall, you walk by a shoes store, the display mannequin is wearing a gorgeous pair of heels, to find out that they do not offer a 5? or even a size 11?.
That's to scream!!! (exaggerating, but you get my point).

I am a size 6.5 or 7 and at times I find myself not finding my size.  If is a pair of heels that I know I must have, I go as far as making the sales person call another store to check if they have my size. I know; "What a B*?" (whispers), but A Shoe Lover must go to extremes to get what they want... :-).

On the other hand, I hear the usual, "I wish I had small feet like you" or "I have tiny feet, where am I going to find a pair of club shoes"...

*Just Fabulous December Selection*

I decided to give Just Fabulous a chance and for a change placed an order online instead of going to the Macy's shoe dept (love it).  I received my selection yesterday which I am already familiar of their neat and nice packaging and also fast shipment since my friend is a regular customer.

I finally tried them on today and they are comfortable, look really nice on my feet and do not look cheap.  My biggest fear is for a shoe to look cheap, I mean $39.95 can get you a pretty decent pair, but in reality there are some expensive shoes that look cheap.  I am pleased with my purchase and will remain a customer.

*AND THE WINNER IS....*

I tried to use random.org, however, as many gadgets as I own and tech knowledge I have, I couldn't find a way to use it to randomly select the winner via that site.  I searched via google a different method and found Raffle King.  I entered the names on the form below then hit "Continue" and gave me the winner.
